James works with Hornby High School to coach and help coordinate basketball teams and social basketball programmes. Basketball has grown in Hornby from just one girl's team in 2008 to 6+ competitive teams each year currently. We now have teams for boys and girls from years 7-13 and our Senior boy's team placed 10th at the 2017 South Island premiership.

Huge Thanks also to the Gators basketball club and Canterbury Rams who provide heaps of coaching, promotion, and club team opportunities for our Hornby students!
